How to Make a Delicious Sherry Trifle

Sherry Trifle made like my mam's. Check out how I make this delicious old fashioned sherry trifle. This is a great desert for a crowd as it is all in one bowl. You will need:

Sponge - I used small swiss rolls. I used 2 1/2 packs of small swiss rolls. You can use pound cake or any other sponge.
2 packs of Jelly/Jello - I used strawberry and raspberry. Use the juice from the fruit as part of the liquid for the jelly.
1 large tin of fruit cocktail or 2 small tins, 1 fruit cocktail and 1 pears
1 cup of sherry
Custard - I use Bird's Custard. Add an extra 1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of white chocolate chips
Whipped Cream
Maraschino Cherries to decorate

Cut up your sponge and line the bottom and sides of your bowl
Layer fruit on top
Pour some sherry over
Layer with more sponge and fruit
