2016 Watercolor Art Supplies

I get asked "what materials do you use" quite often, so it was about time I answered that question. I want everyone to know, especially if you are new or starting out with watercolour, that you don't NEED the best supplies to LEARN how to paint. Watercolor materials can be quite costly, so please don't feel the need to jump into the deep end. I started out learning how to watercolour with relatively affordable materials that weren't necessarily the best, and only now after I've gotten more comfortable, am I beginning to invest in better materials

Remember, just because you might have the best materials, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll become an instantly better artist. Spend more time focussing on learning the basics and the medium, rather than focussing on which brand is the best!
